What's hot right now?

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! ☺️
We haven’t done this in a while, so let’s check some of the hottest games currently on BGG! ✌️ This list fluctuates a lot, and it’s always fun to see what games people are awaiting and talking about the most.
💡 Inventions: Evolution of Ideas
First up is obviously the newest Vital Lacerda game from @eaglegryphon , as it is currently up on Kickstarter. 😄 It looks to be a very interactive game as people play idea cards that will later become inventions, which then will be shared with the world. The artwork by Ian O’Toole and the components look mesmerizing again! Are you backing it?
🚀 Galactic Cruise
I can’t find a lot of details about this game, but it skyrocketed on the hotness list after the cover picture was published: done by none other than Ian O’Toole! 😮 I guess it made us excited for the game too. This is the power of a famous artist! 🤩
It will be a worker placement game in which you are supervising a space travel agency, growing the workforce, inventing new technologies, improving the company network, and ultimately trying to become CEO.
☢️ S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Board Game
The newest @awaken.realms game currently on Gamefound (just above 2 million dollars 🙀), inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. video game franchise. Dubbed a “zone-crawler”, it’s a dungeon-crawler-esque game played in the “Zone”: a dangerous place with scarce resources, radiation and mutated monsters. The game mechanics are supposed to support this feeling of danger and tension, as you try to survive the scenarios. We’re all in! 😁
💰 Thiefdom
Yet another game on Kickstarter right now. The concept of it sounds awesome: you play as rival thief guilds in a medieval town. 😍 Everyone controls 3 thieves in pickup-and-deliver fashion, robbing houses and stealing purses. A fun twist is how players will control the patrolling guards too, trying to bring the heat on their opponents.
The theme really speaks to me, but I am not sure if we would enjoy this game or not.
