Upgrading Tikal

Time for #Sunday🎲Showcase !😁

We love giving that little ‘oomph’ to games to make them that much more special! Though to be fair it can take some time to create these upgrades.

Tikal was one we upgraded some time ago, which was just a quick project. Before I go any further I just have to say that the Super Meeple edition of the game looks AMAZING! 😍 The colors, the artwork, the chunky 3D temple pieces - all of it! 🥰
So we only had to create and add 3 volcanoes to it. But they are a really cool cherry on top! 😁

We made them with our resin 3D printer, then gave them a quick paint job, trying to color-match the board and tiles - I think it turned out pretty well at the end. 😊 I am always mesmerized by how this liquid resin turns into such awesome sculpts. We used a free STL file from thingiverse to print (many thanks to user Proezas for sharing it).
I love how many things the community creates and shares. It’s always really cool to see! ♥️
