Ship, builid, intercept...

Shipping strange crystals, capacitors or jiggly materials is your thing? Or just building chaotic pipelines in your shipping facility is what gets you out of bed? You get satisfaction by intercepting the shipment of others?
Then you are right with Curious Cargo.

In this 2-player game you build pipelines between your machines and the shipping / receiving spaces of your board and try to find good timing for your trucks🚚 to get in line to send your cargo on its way as soon as possible. On the other hand, you can intercept incoming trucks 🚛 of the other player and if you connected the right spaces the right time you can offload their cargo and get bonuses for it.

The game is played in rounds, each consisting of 2 phases. In the construction phase you get new tiles from the bag and/or put tiles into your facility trying to connect your production machines to the shipping/receiving spaces. In the trucking phase you get to call trucks by playing truck cards or use those cards to place orders for even more pipes. New trucks will push earlier ones so you can ship more stuff from your factory. You can also just call a new truck to your opponents factory in order to offload their goods or to screw with them - there is also a promo for a bus, which has no places to hold goods 😏😁

We played only the “simple” 2-color version yet, and oh man, 🤯 it is hard sometimes to find the right tile placement that helps. This game definitely needs some practice.😊 If you are ready for some mind melting puzzling you should feel right at home using the 3-color variant.
