Letters from the Old One

If you follow us since longer, you may know that we really like every kind of Love Letter games 😍 Unfortunately there is a few versions out there which are relatively hard to come by nowadays.

We are currently visiting Budapest and we couldn't pass on the opportunity to check out some local board game shops 😍 and it was totally worth it, because we found a copy of Lovecraft Letter! 🤩

As you can think from the title, this version is based on the lovecraftian world. The core gameplay stays the same but with a few unique twists:

📖 You'll become insane when a green insanity card lands in your discard pile
📖 If you are insane, you have to do a sanity check on each round. You can of course die immediately while you're at it 🤣
📖 Some cards have different unique abilities if you are insane
📖 If you win, you get a different kind of poker chip depending on your state of mind -  you need 2 sane chips or 3 insane chips to win the game!

The price was a bit steep, but this edition has premium printed sleeves, weighted poker chips, and a beautiful magnetic box too 🤩

We enjoyed the first games at 3p a lot, can't wait to explore more 🤩
