My fav 2 player classic

🐪 Jaipur is a 2-player card game where you play as two rival merchants trying to win two out of three rounds against each other. You win a round if you get more points by having made more and better trades than the other.
This game is a perfect blend of tactics, risk and luck. It was among the very first games we ever bought and we love it a lot. The game is fast and simple, yet brilliant.😍 😏
On your turn you either get cards from a central market or sell sets of your hand cards. If you choose to get new cards you either take all camel cards, get one card, or exchange 2-5 cards from your hand for 2-5 market cards. If you sell you choose one goods type and discard all of those and get that many point chips of that type.
It can be worth it to gather big sets because you get more point chips and a bonus chip too. However the chip value goes down as more get taken so you can't wait too long.🤔 Camels might seem useless, but if there are a lot of them to get on one turn they can be quite valuable to exhange in later for goods. You also have a hand size which sets a limit to what you can do.
As soon as you start playing you see the weight of every choice and the nuances of the game. Like I said it's quite brilliant.🤩 And... I almost forget: it plays under 30 min 🤩
