More on Planet Unknown

We played some more of Planet Unknown 🌎 This game is brilliant. 🙃 The kind, where as the game ends you already want to start the next one.

This feeling is amplified by the fact that there are 8 asymmetric corporations you can play as and 12 different planet boards. 😮 Some are simpler, some are more complex, but they give a nice twist to your standard gameplay.

For example there is a ring around planet Arashii, which causes relentless winds, so if you want to place a tile in the middle, it has to be anchored outside the ring. Or on planet Tartarus there is a huge chasm that splits it in half, which makes placing tiles and moving your rover more difficult.

The corporations are also very varied. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and you get different technologies as you progress on the technology tracks. 😁

All of these features make the already addicting tile-laying gameplay even more enjoyable. We also tried adding the optional event deck into the game, but we felt it didn't add too much to the fun, but added some unnecessary upkeep.
