More about the leaders

We played 2 more times with Arnak, so we could try out all 6 of the asymmetric Expedition Leaders.
They all sure modify some things and give you new valuable actions - but they also make you wonder at the end of the game: "Did I win because I played better, or because my character was overpowered?" 🤔
But still, I think the leaders make the game even more enjoyable. 😊

🦸‍♂️ The Captain: he's the most straightforward. You get a 3rd worker. This seems (and is) powerful, but you do have to spend even more cards sending out your workers - and also one of your starting cards is a disadvantageous fear card.

🧭 The Explorer: she only has one worker. However she has snack tokens you can use to send your worker into a new location. Using snacks is not free though.

🧑‍🎓The Professor: he specializes in buying artifact cards. You get bonus resources that you can only spend on artifacts.

🧙 The Mystic: he collects exiled Fear cards which he can use in rituals, that give him extra resources or bonuses.

🦅 The Falconer: she has a falcon token that you can move on a track on your player board with certain effects. You can activate the falcon at any time, and depending on how far away it is you get different bonuses.

💰 The Baroness: she has an income of coins and has a card that makes bought item cards go into her hand - instead of under the deck.

We did feel like some characters were strictly superior to others, but they all have their pros and cons - and you have to fit your game play around these.
