Let‘s go on an adventure!

We finally got ahold of Roll Player Adventures so we have been playing it all day today 😅 We just wrapped up Scenario 5 (out of 11).
The game is split into scenarios. During each of these you move around a map and read the events that happen from the storybook. The story is exceptionally well written, and there are always multiple choices to be made that follow you along.
There are skill tests and combat in the game, both resolved by dice allocation. Although you have a big hand of cards that can modify the rolls if you are unlucky sometimes there is literally no chance to succeed, which can be a bummer. Also you are limited in how many cards you can play during each encounter. Furthermore resting only restores a random amount of stamina, so you can get screwed by the randomness there too. 🎲 😠
Because this is game is story based the replayability is of course limited, but there are multiple factions to be allied with and a ton of backstories to uncover you could easily play through multiple times.
Even though the randomness is sometimes enraging we enjoy Roll Player Adventures immensely and will jump right back into Scenario 6. 🤩
