How about travel games?
❓Do you take games with you to vacation?
❓What are your favorite travel games?
We just headed off to holiday, so the topic of travel-sized games is relevant again. 😁 Even though we probably won't have the energy or the time to play after days filled with sightseeing, we just couldn't leave our home empty handed. 😅
Small box games and games with few components lend themselves well for travelling. Usually my go-to are roll&writes and flip&writes (preferably with laminated sheets), but this time we went with some other games.
Behold, our travel arsenal:
🧪 Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde vs Scotland Yard
A new co-op trick-taking game with Durtrait art that we are very excited about!
🎛️ Azul Mini
We got this smaller version of the awesome Azul just for the holiday. I wish it was a bit smaller though. 😅
🐝 Hive Pocket
As we are warming up to abstract games, it was time to get one of the most recommended games of the genre. Perfect for beach-sand-gaming. 👍
💍 Similo Lord of the Rings
An awesome little co-op deduction game with only a few cards to carry.
♟️ Cat's Gambit
A quick and tiny solo card game with chess placement rules.
🏘️ Sprawlopolis
Perhaps the most liked game of city building from Button Shy. We've had it for a while but still haven't played, so it's high time now.
🃏 Ten
A push-your-luck set-collection card game we heard good things about.
⚔️ Ultra Tiny Epic Kingdom
The tiny epic games take pride in being small. The ultra tiny epic versions are about a quarter of the size, so.. into the bag with it. 😅
🧩 SideQuest 7th Sea and a 30 Min. Unlock!
So we have some escape games at hand as well. 😌
I guess we might have overdone it, but they didn't take much space, so it's okay. 😄 Can't wait to play them.🤩
