How about a free game?

πŸ€– Robo Rescue: Origins is a super quick and simple game about assembling robots. It is actually a small prequel spin-off to another upcoming game called Robo Rescue - so the goal of Origins is to bring attention to its bigger brother, which will launch on crowdfunding as well soon. If you are interested, you can grab a deck of Robo Rescue: Origins for free on Kickstarter. πŸ‘

The game is all about set-collection. You can either play it solo, or simultaneously with as many people as you have decks for. Your deck has cards depicting different robot parts, engineers and workshops, all in 1 of 4 colors. These parts are used to build robots in quick rounds, with the most points winning each round - play a best of 5 to see who is the better robot-technician! πŸ’ͺπŸ†

In a round you will only play 8 cards, by drawing 2 cards each turn. Cards you draw can go to either your 2 Workshop πŸ”§ areas or to your 2 Storage πŸ“¦ areas. These have distinct rules for set-collection:

πŸ”§ In the Workshop you have to place all different robot parts, engineers and workshops. If all the cards are in the same color you get bonus points, and even more points if you manage to collect all 6 required types.

πŸ“¦ In the Storage you can only place robot components, but every card here has to share a type, and all the cards have to be different colors. The more cards you place here the more bonus points you get.

And with that you know everything to play. πŸ™ƒ It’s all about managing the random draws and doing the best with them, while keeping in mind what cards you have in your display to mitigate a bit of the randomness. From the 4 areas you only get to score 2, so you should definitely focus on bigger sets.

The campaign for Robo Rescue: Origins is live on Kickstarter now, so go check it out! πŸ˜‰
