Cozy cats everywhere

Calico is a beautiful and quite challenging tile-laying game. Also there are cats! 😸😻
You play until your quilt is finished by completely filling your player board with hex-shaped tiles.

Each turn you have 2 hex tiles. You have to choose one and place it in any empty spot on your board. Then you take one of three face up tiles from the market, so you have 2 again for your next turn.

When placing tiles you have to be mindful of 3 different scoring mechanics: 🤔
1. If you create areas of 3 or more with the same color you get a button that gives you bonus points.
2. At setup there are 3 cats chosen. These have preferred patterns and shapes. When you manage to create the required shape with one of the patterns you get a cat for bonus points. 🐱
3. You have your 3 scoring tiles on your board:
These tell you how you have to place the 6 tiles around them. You can try to do this by only using colors or only using patterns, but if you manage to fulfill the requirements with both color AND pattern you get more points.

So there is a lot to look out for, and you have to be mindful of every single placement. You can easily screw yourself by trying to get some big combo, then failing miserably at the end 😅
