Can your escape your fate?

In Solar Storm you play as the crew of a space ship 🚀– a space ship that has no power and is being pulled into the sun by its gravitational pull. ☀️As you get closer to the sun, more and more systems get damaged, so you have to act fast, run around the ship repairing things and try to divert power to the energy core to be able to get away from imminent doom.🙀

Solar Storm is a pandemic style co-op game. On your turn you have 3 actions, after which you have to draw a card from the damage deck that will break some parts of your ship. In the action phase you can move your meeple around, use the room-specific actions or use your resource cards to divert power or repair the room. You win the game if you manage to divert power from all 8 rooms surrounding the power core.

If you like these kinds of games, you will like Solar Storm too for sure.😊 However as it is a small box game, I think it shouldn’t be really compared to its big box brothers – this could be perfect to bring along for travel though.😊
